In this world, everyday 25,000 children die because of hunger and preventable diseases as a result of poverty. (UNICEF, 2008)
One in seven children is forced to work.
In this world, there are 215,000,000 children who cannot go to school because of poverty, and have to work in a dangerous environment for many hours that is harmful to their mental and physical state. (ILO, 2010)
One in every 21 children cannot get a proper education
The children who are uneducated are illiterate; therefore they may be fooled and will not have a stable job which makes it harder for them to escape from poverty.
Every day, 4000 children die due to water born diseases.
In this world, about 860,000,000 people are unable to drink clean water. (WHO & UNICEF, 2010)
Moreover, in the developing countries, there are a lot of children who walk long distances to get water. This is one of the reasons, they are unable to go to school which can also lead to illness.
